Det. Jason White is a 25-year veteran of the Tulsa Police Department. Throughout his career, he has worked in uniform patrol and served as a member of the Street Crimes Unit, an undercover investigator in the Special Investigations Division Narcotics Unit, a School Resource Officer, and a Crime Scene Detective.

Det. White is currently assigned to the Homicide Unit, where he has served for more than 14 years and has been featured in several episodes of The First 48 on A & E.

Det. White was also assigned to the Special Operations Team as a Crisis Negotiator, where he served for over ten years, and is a current member of the Critical Incident Response Team, where he has served for the past 16 years.

Throughout his career, Det. White received multiple commendations, including a Citation of Recognition from the State of Oklahoma House of Representatives in 2022 and 2012, a Medal of Valor in 2011, and the Chief’s Unit Award in 2022 and 2009, along with several additional commendations.

Det. White has a B.S. Degree in Professional Law Enforcement from Oklahoma City University and an A.S. Degree in Police Science from Oklahoma State University.

Finally, Det. White is a sought-after presenter who has spoken throughout the United States and Canada on the subjects of Homicide Investigation and Crisis Negotiation.

Tulsa, Oklahoma

Ronnie began his law enforcement career as a reserve officer in 1998 in his hometown of Commerce, Oklahoma. He then became a reserve officer in Miami, Oklahoma, while working as a jailer at the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office. Within a few months, he was assigned as a Deputy Sheriff, working in patrol until December 1999.

In January 2000, he began working for the Tulsa Police Department. In his 22 1/2 year career with TPD, he worked in patrol, vice, narcotics, on an FBI Task Force, and as a homicide detective. As a homicide detective, he was featured on the A&E hit television show The First 48.

Ronnie received multiple medals and letters of commendation during his career with TPD.
