While in exile in Babylon, the prophet Ezekiel reported seeing multiple metallic “wheels” in the sky. His description in the Bible has been widely assumed to be a UFO sighting. Images of this event can be seen in architecture and art in many churches.

“The appearance of the wheels and their workings was like the color of beryl, and all four had the same likeness. The appearance of their workings was, as it were, A WHEEL IN THE MIDDLE OF A WHEEL”. Ezekiel 1:16
