From ancient ruins to modern buildings, tales of ghostly encounters and unexplained phenomena have transcended all cultures and civilizations. We look at some of the most haunted sites around the world, delving into both ancient and modern hauntings and phenomena.

The Tower of London, England

Standing tall on the banks of the River Thames, the Tower of London is not just a historical fortress; it is also rumored to be one of the most haunted places in the world. The tales of its haunting date back centuries, with sightings of famous figures such as Anne Boleyn and Lady Jane Grey. The chilling clinking of chains and disembodied voices have led to numerous accounts of eerie occurrences within its walls.

Château de Châteaubriant, France

The Château de Châteaubriant, a medieval castle in France, is steeped in history and spectral lore. The legend of the “Green Lady” haunts its halls – a phantom believed to be Françoise de Foix, the mistress of King Francis I. Visitors have reported feeling cold spots, sudden gusts of wind, and even the sensation of being watched by unseen eyes.

The Queen Mary, United States

Once a luxurious ocean liner, the Queen Mary now rests as a floating hotel in Long Beach, California. While its elegant décor remains, stories of apparitions and strange occurrences have emerged. The spirits of former crew members and passengers are said to wander its decks, creating an unsettling atmosphere that has captured the attention of paranormal enthusiasts and previously non-believers alike.
